The Brand Union has executed the package design for Kahlúa’s new offering ‒ Kahlúa Iced Coffee. The single-serve cans boast an enlarged logo and patterned backgrounds accentuated with colors that reflect the brand’s Veracruz, Mexico origins. By focusing on the brand’s Mexican heritage, the agency seeks to connect “the richness of Kahlua’s Mexican tradition with a distinctly current sensibility.” Says Richard Bates, Chief Creative Officer of The Brand Union: “Our vision for the design was to evolve the branding in a thoroughly modern way, while paying homage to the Kahlúa heritage.”
