40TH ANNIVERSARY DIRECTORY OF DESIGNER-FRIENDLY COMPANIES

In four decades of trying to sort through thousands of companies and claims, demos and demagoguery, we find that, once again, less is more. Of the thousands of companies out there, there are a rare handful who understand the creative community, develop products and services for that community, and support its endeavors and interests.

The presentation is simple: overviews of companies, their mission as it relates to creative and production professionals, and easily accessible addresses of the real and virtual kind. Plus, we have interspersed quotes from selected companies that highlight the synergy between design and production, creator and producer. The goal of all this is straightforward: to encourage connections, dialogue, a two-way flow of information. That can only be healthy for everyone at a time when productivity, efficiency and speed are so critical.
