The business card for Influence, LLC, an e-business solutions provider that creates and accelerates e-business and new economy brands, has won Monster.com's "Cool Card Contest." Judges selected five finalists which were displayed on the web site. Visitors voted Influence's card the "coolest card in the universe." "A great business card comes from the fusion of a powerful message and an appealing visual," said Eric Thoelke, executive vp of branding for Influence.

An abstract representational structure of a builder (with a very small cranium) was recently unveiled at the newly completed headquarters of the Shiel Sexton Corporation, a construction service provider. Designed by ad agency Young & Laramore's sculpture/installations division, 2nd GLOBE, the sculpture expresses humility for the company (Structure Man is more whimsical than grandiose) and respect for the building trade (the figure supports an I-beam) and Indianapolis's renascent Near Northwest district. The artist is David Young.

This logo for the Chicago Producers Circle graphically symbolizes sound emanating from the Chicago skyline in a contemporary design structure and color scheme. The client is a network of songwriters, musicians, producers and audio professionals who create original music and audio for radio, tv, the internet, software and all other media. These oversized direct mail cards are helping Sunnyside Dental, a new chain of dental practices on the east side of Indianapolis, humanize dentistry and get the business off the ground. Young & Martin Design developed this "cigar band-influenced" logo for Pelosi & Chambers Photography. The colorful logo is being used on various promotional materials for the photography studio as well as their new web site and print ads.

Creative Resources Center updates the design of the full line of Old Dutch Foods Ripples Potato Chips packaging, including a color theme that clearly differentiates the five flavors. A redesigned Ripples logo, along with transparent inks and foil, gives the packages more impact and carves out a stronger on-shelf presence. Creative director is Troy Braun; art directors are Leslie Hacking and Maren Christensen.
