ROSENBERGJOCELYN LUCAS ROSENBERG

New York NY: Jocelyn Lucas Rosenberg is the new director of marketing and development for the Art Directors Club. Formerly production director at Scheyer in San Francisco, she specializes in work for nonprofit organizations including the Special Olympics and Camp Fire Boys and Girls. Executive director Myrna Davis says Rosenberg is responsible for managing all marketing matters, including an upcoming new brand identity, for the 83 year old club.

 


 

NOLAND-WYNNEHEIDI NOLAND-WYNNE

Burlington VT: Lisaius Marketing appoints Heidi Noland-Wynne to the post of senior designer. Prior to joining the firm Noland-Wynne worked as the art director at Scientific American magazine in New York. Lisaius Marketing is a graphic design studio and marketing company which specializes in creating innovative artworks and marketing materials for clients such as Blockbuster Video, Showtime Networks, Rossignol, ADT Security Services, Pioneer Entertainment, Smith Bell & Thompson, Long Trail Brewing Company and others.

 


 

PARKERSCOTT PARKER

Dayton OH: Scott Parker rejoins Visual Marketing Associates within the graphic design discipline. Parker was most recently at Nova Creative Group. VMA provides visual marketing support for clients that include the Acushnet Company, the Air Force Museum Foundation, W.C. Bradley, the Huffy Corporation, the Suncast Corporation, MeadWestvaco and more. A 1985 graduate of Sinclair Community College, Parker gained graphic design experience at Kramer Graphics and Howard Paper Mills before his first stint at VMA.

Solana Beach CA: Jeff Haack makes partner at The McCulley Group after two years with the company as design director. Haack has more than a decade of experience in design and strategy management. At The McCulley Group he has managed corporate branding and interior design projects for Burnham Real Estate Services, CruzanMonroe and Campbell Mithun San Diego. Previously he was with the well-known Girvin design firm, where he was design director on high profile projects including the Microsoft Museum and Company Store and the Mirage Resort's Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. He also worked at the former Copeland Hirthler in Atlanta.

 


 

GREENBERGNATHANIEL CALEB GREENBERG

Brooklyn NY: Graphic Design usa welcomes Nathaniel Caleb Greenberg into the world. Greenberg, the son of Graphic Design usa's art director Ilana Greenberg and her husband Jeff, was previously an avid swimmer and, before that, a zygote. He weighed 6 lbs. and 11 oz. at birth, and we are sure he has many great experiences ahead.

 


 

WESTHOVENJEFF WESTHOVEN

New York NY: Eighteen year graphic design veteran Jeff Westhoven is now director, strategic communications, at Ideas On Purpose. The design studio specializes in annual reports and branding. Westhoven has held a variety of positions, most notably senior client partner at Red Sky Interactive, managing director at the Chicago office of Addison Design and manager of marketing services at the former Champion Papers.

 


 

MUSMANNOKELLY MUSMANNO

Pittsburgh PA: Kelly Musmanno is upped to production manager at BD&E. She has been both a designer and a production design specialist at the firm. Her new job entails developing and streamlining more efficient electronic production methods, while managing up to 50 active projects. An art history graduate of Allegheny College with a design certificate from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Musmanno worked at Eric Mower & Associates, where she set up an inhouse design studio and worked on accounts that included the Buffalo Sabres, Ford Dealers of Western New York, Kohler, Sorrento Cheese and Welch's. BD&E was founded in 1975.

 


 

WALDRONCHRIS WALDRON

Fort Wayne IN: Sweetwater, a national direct retailer of professional audio recording and performance equipment, welcomes Chris Waldron as art director. In this post Waldron heads up the team responsible for the design, creation and execution of the company's marketing print materials, including the Gear Directories. He joins Sweetwater with 25 years' experience in graphic design, publications and photography. For the past five years, prior to diving into Sweetwater, he ran his own graphic design studio. The eclectic Waldron has also been an art director at an insurance firm and a chemical company.

 


 

JEFF CORBIN, MARK VANDERKLIPP, JIM HARPER, ROBERT BRENGMAN

Traverse City MI: Corbin, nationally known for its wayfinding design and practice, redefines its leadership as part of an ongoing transition to employee ownership. Jeff Corbin takes the title of founder and chairman, while senior vice president Mark VanderKlipp moves up to president of the firm. Corbin continues to serve as principal in charge of client projects. Rounding out the leadership team are Jim Harper, who oversees the firm's work processes, and Robert Brengman, who monitors product development. Corbin's client roster includes the cities of Atlanta, Los Angeles and Milwaukee; Penn State University; University Health Network in Toronto; General Motors Corporation; and Herman Miller.

Syracuse NY: The International Network of Independent Advertising Agencies has named as its new president Eric Mower. Mower is ceo of Eric Mower & Associates, a regional powerhouse based in upstate New York.

 


 

JOY CROPPER

Indianapolis IN: Joy Cropper joins WilliamsRandall Marketing Communications as director of internet strategy. Cropper comes to the firm by way of J. Walter Thompson, where she was a partner and lead web strategist. In this role she led strategic development for the Ford Division of Ford Motor Company, and was integral to the redesign of the car maker's web site, www.fordvehicles.com. The position at WilliamsRandall is newly created for Cropper.

 


 

CRAIG ABRAMS, BRIAN MCAULEY

Freeport NY: Swingframe, a manufacturer of popular instant access frames and display products, names Craig Abrams as its marketing director and Brian McAuley as IT director. Abrams holds a MBA from Hofstra University. In his new role he is responsible for integrating current and new products into sales materials and catalogs. McAuley is a graduate of Hofstra's MS program.

 


 

MELISSA HOFFMAN

New York NY: Global branding and design firm Fitch: Worldwide adds Melissa Hoffman as vice president of business development for North America. Her experience includes business and marketing posts at the likes of Gensler's 585 Division, dg group and Pentagram. As executive vice president and creative director of Esquire Magazine, she developed programming and content with the purpose of spinning Esquire Press/Esquire Video as its own company. Her decision to join Fitch: Worldwide, she says, is motivated by its 40 year design legacy.

 


 

REBECCA DENNETT, ROB ADAMS, DONNA GORDON

Newburyport MA: Cross-Media, Inc. has hired two graphic designers. Rebecca Dennett comes to the advertising and marketing agency with nearly ten years of design experience. Previously, she was responsible for marketing concepts, product and packaging design, at Aqua-Leisure. Rob Adams had been working on a freelance basis with Coco & Co., and has experience in direct mail, brochure, advertising and web design. CMI also announced a new director of account planning: Donna Gordon moves over from Mullen Advertising to take the post.

 


 

STEPHEN PENNING

Philadelphia PA: Stephen Penning is the newest addition to 160over90 and its award winning creative department. Penning, who was hired as a designer to support all design services, comes over from Gyro Worldwide, where he worked with high-profile clients such as Puma, RJ Reynolds and Chupa-Chups. The agency itself has been named one of "Philadelphia's 100 Fastest Growing Companies."

 


 

PAMELA FINK

White Plains NY: Pamela Fink joins George Little Management as media supervisor for the International Hotel/Motel Show, National Stationery Show, The Supply Side and the International New Age Trade Shows. In this role, she is responsible for conceptualizing and implementing publicity strategies for each event. Fink brings extensive tradeshow knowledge to GLM, having worked at both Reed Exhibition Company and Bellweather Expositions.

 


 

REBECCA KOROL

Newton CT: The Leverage MarCom Group promotes from within, naming former graphic arts intern Rebecca Korol to an assistant art director title. Korol holds a BFA from the graphic and interactive communication program at Ringling School of Art and Design. The Leverage MarCom Group services a variety of accounts, including Cendant Mobility, Coca-Cola, Pitney-Bowes, Sealed Air Corporation, Shaw's and Unilock.

Phoenix AZ: Dan Semenchuk joins Tieken/Moret Design and Marketing as the director of business development. Semenchuk brings more than 23 years of experience to the firm, and has held several key positions in the creative and printing industries. Semenchuk's background includes work on major accounts such as Qwest Communications, The Dial Corporation, Best Western and Del Webb.
