New Orleans LA: New Orleans Magazine names Matt Touchard
one of the city's "People to Watch in 2005."
Touchard is creative director at Zermatt Design, a creative
firm with offices in New Orleans and Los Angeles. An
award-winning designer, he has been honored with a Clio,
a Telly and an ADDY, as well as with recognition by
Graphic Design usa in our annual American Graphic Design
Awards. When asked by New Orleans Magazine about his
goals for 2005, Touchard said, "There has been
a cyclical shift once again where consumers are demanding
more for their hard-earned cash. I see the same thing
with clients. Most want and expect solid solutions to
their marketing and advertising dilemmas, albeit their
budgets are tight. So, my focus will be to engage the
client with faster solutions that take less time, thus
less money. That gives me carte blanche to do more personal
projects..." Touchard's clients include Pat Benatar,
Cirque du Soleil and EMI Records. He is currently writing
and designing a hardcover book about guitar collections
across the U.S.A., entitled GuitArsonists.
