There is a thaw taking place in the print and paper world, as the graphic arts industry shakes off the effects of the proverbial perfect storm. For more details on print design trends, please see our 41st annual reader survey in the July 04 issue of Graphic Design usa.
This month, however, we take up an additional indicator of the thaw: an uptick in the creative work being done for the great specifier paper mills by members of the design community. In this Fall Paper Promotions roundup, we call attention to some terrific, informative, educational, sometimes even inspiring, paper pieces and initiatives, and, wherever possible, glean some insights from the designers about their challenges and solutions.
