Cuervo Carton Camaraderie
The C&G Society (Cuervo and Ginger) has been making the rounds, promotion-wise, at high profile events such as the Superbowl and the Sundance Festival. Now launched for consumers, the roll out features a C&G Society Local Chapter Starter Kit and value-added packaging from Jose Cuervo and Schweppes. Creative credits go to Ignited Minds of Marina del Rey CA, including Ron Gould, executive creative director; Mike Wolfsohn, creative director; Eric White, art director; Oogie Lee and Erik Jensen, designers; and Damian Fraticelli, copywriter.
Showtime for Usher
Motion graphics firm Loyalkaspar drew inspiration from the English illustrator, Aubrey Beardsley, and from Japanese illustration to create this I.D. for Showtime's "What's Next" campaign, which spotlights a live concert with Usher. Creative credits go to directors Beat Baudenbacher and David Herbruck and designer Elliot Blanchard. Herbruck also produced.
Freeze Frame
Packaging for Jones Frozen Soda Pops displays the bottles rather than hides them. Creative director Gabe Goldman of Seattle's General Public design firm explains, "We thought about what is most recognizable about the Jones Soda brand, and decided it was the product itself. Instead of showcasing the product inside the box, we designed the packaging to frame the most noticeable part of Jones — the bottles." The brand extension is being done under an exclusive licensing agreement between Jones and The Kroger Company.
