MyPark
The Los Angeles marketing firm Big Fish created a MySpace page to promote the 10th anniversary of Comedy Central's hit cartoon series "South Park." Visitors to the page can create "South Park" characters and place them on their personal MySpace profiles. Creative credits go to Robin Fisher Roffer and Steven Roffer, the husband-and-wife team behind Big Fish.
Technical Knockout
Consumers say that vinyl windows from Visions Windows and Doors are tougher and thicker than the competition. New print ads by Shine Advertising of Madison WI spread that message through the visual metaphors of boxing and meatpacking. The idea: Visions windows are beefy and can take a beating. Creative credits go to CD Mike Kriefski, AD John Krull, CW James Breen and photographer Jeff Sciortino. Blu Banana contributed digital work.
Girls Gone Bourjois
Gift sets from the Paris cosmetics brand Bourjois are flying off the shelves —thanks in part to whimsical packaging by the international brand design agency Dragon Rouge. The sets come in round gold-brush finished tins highlighted with French accents and decorated with three characters: the Acrobat, the Tamer and the Can Can Dancer. Creative credits go to Design Director Maiken Erstad and Illustrator Bruce Sereta, with production by Rick Ehrenberg.
