A pioneer in the industry, Nicosia developed a number of original printing techniques and introduced innovative uses of materials to the beauty industry. Some of his most noteworthy innovations include the use of Fireslate 2 in the design elements of Tiffany & Co. candles, Zamac resin for Rochas fragrance and frosted acetate, corrugated cardboard and molded pulp in packaging for such brands as Calvin Klein and Bath & Body Works.
