Chicago integrated marketing agency TargetCom hired Esteban Gonzalezas a senior vice president of brand planning and digital and Bill Gentry as vice president of digital strategy and business development. Gonzalez, a Harvard grad, comes to TargetCom from Modem Media/Digitas, Organic, Red Sky Interactive and Strategic Interactive Group. Gentry consulted for DraftFCB and Leapfrog Online after founding the online marketing firm DirectNet. He also worked at FCB/Direct and Frankel & Company after graduating from Southern Illinois University. TargetCom is part of MDC Partners.

Damien DeChurch joined Crosby/Wright as a senior graphic designer. Over the course of his career, he has developed national advertising campaigns for Tylenol, Splenda, IAMS Company and AT&T. Crosby/ Wright is a PR and ad agency based in Scottsdale AZ.

Miles Design of Indianapolis IN tapped Brian K. Gray to be a designer. A graduate of Purdue University, Gray earned a B.A. in visual communications design. He held designer and art director positions at a host of top Indianapolis firms, including Williams Randall, Hickman & Associates, Cabello Associates, Three-Sixty Group and Cranfill & Company. Miles Design was founded in 2002.

Minneapolis' Little & Company promoted Joe Cecere to the position of vice president, creative director. Cecere, a graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, began his design career at The Edison Group. He is an active member of AIGA Minnesota. Cecere will lead Little & Company's 15-person team of designers and copywriters.

Kimberly A. Valint is now a production designer at Stand Advertising. The recent Daemen College graduate will be responsible for the Fairgrounds Gaming & Raceway, ECMC and Rich's Canada accounts. Stand Advertising is a full-service advertising agency based in Amherst NY.

Draftcb Chicago promoted three members of its creative team. Melody Jeter is now vice president, director of creative technology. She joined Draftcb in 1999 after graduating from the University of Illinois at Urbana. The new vice president, associate creative director is Mark Myers, who previously worked at Pressley Jacobs Design. Michael Stout joined Draftcb in 2004 and most recently served as creative director. He is now vice president, creative director.

Falk Harrison Creative hired Danielle Walz as an assistant art director. The recent Missouri State University grad previously interned at VSA Partners. Falk Harrison is a Midwest design and communications firm based in St. Louis MO.

Marsh, Inc., promoted Matt DeRhodes to director of production. DeRhodes joined Marsh in 2005 as a production designer. The amateur carpenter freelanced as a designer after graduating from the University of Cincinnati's College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. Cincinnati is the base of operations for Marsh, Inc.

Congrats are due to Jill Tanenbaum. The president and CEO of Jill Tanenbaum Graphic Design & Advertising received a Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise Award from the University of Maryland, the Maryland Governor's Office of Minority Affairs and the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. She was recognized for her achievements in four key areas: business development, client satisfaction, professional affiliations and community outreach. Her business is based in Bethesda MD.

Minneapolis brand and reputation agency LEVEL named Lois Dirksen as president and strategic consultant. She previously served in executive positions at Minnesota Life (Securian), Rezound International and ACI Inc. and graduated from Arizona State University.
