Their body of work includes some of the world's most famous designs, typefaces marked by both high performance and high style. In 2004, The Hoefler Type Foundry became Hoefler & Frere-Jones. The company continues to work with brand leaders in every sector, developing original typefaces and licensing fonts from its library of more than 1,000 designs. Two popular new introductions: Gotham Narrow, a hardworking, space saving typeface for text and display alike, and perfect for the moment; and Archer, a colorful slab serif described as “sweet but not saccharine, earnest but not grave, Archer is designed to hit just the right notes of forthrightness, credibility, and charm.”
