Coca-Cola's David Butler was a lead speaker at the just concluded AIGA Conference in Memphis TN, speaking about design as a competitive advantage. Butler has worked on a range of global brands including the International Olympic Committee, Delta Airlines, Cartoon Network, Gucci, Bank of America and UPS. Former posts include Studio Archetype and Sapient. He joined Coca-Cola in 2004.

Smith, founding partner of Smith Design, has been elected to both the New Jersey Packaging Executives Club Hall of Fame and the Advertising Hall of Fame. He founded his firm more than 30 years ago in the basement of his home, and has since grown into a major force with clients including Pepsi, Kraft and Rubbermaid. "It's a tremendous honor to be inducted into two halls of fame," says Smith, who credits his talented team.

Hackett takes on the new position of senior vice president, brand
activation, working across New York-based CBX's diverse client base to bring brands to life. Previously, since 2003, he held positions at design and architecture firm The Rockwell Group, most recently as studio leader in charge of the firm's brand activation capability. He has also worked as a senior strategist at interactive consultancy KPE.
