Anthem adds John Kitzmiller as Creative Director in the Cincinnati office. Kitzmiller, most recently with Interbrand, is charged with leading the creative group to deliver innovative thinking and world-class
design. Kitzmiller has more than 20 years experience in branding, design and advertising; prior to Interbrand, he also served in creative leadership roles at both Wonder Group and Benchmark.
Swanson Russell, Nebraska's largest marketing communications firm, ups Ashley Rolf to graphic designer from production artist. Rolf joined the agency in the fall of 2008 after completing an internship there. She
has a degree in advertising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Swanson Russell also elevated Staci Nass to graphic/ tech specialist. Nass joined the agency in 2004, also as a production artist, after
graduating from Southeast Community College in Lincoln. Both Nass and Rolf are based in the firm's Lincoln office.
Joli Glantz is a designer at Flood Creative NY. Glantz completed her graduate studies at the Portfolio Center in Atlanta in 2009. She
previously earned a BS in Marketing and International Business from Penn State University in 2005. Before joining Flood, Glantz
freelanced for both Siegel & Gale and Fizzy Lizzy.
Thaddeus B. Kubis, a leading proponent of print, advertising and marketing, has been named Chairperson of the Marketing Committee of the
Graphic Communications Scholarship Award and Career Advancement Foundation. The not-for-profit, grant-making foundation, now in its eighth
year, supports students who are specializing in the printing and graphic art trades. Kubis, who has been an active supporter of the
foundation through his firm NAK Integrated Marketing, joins a fully volunteer staff that to date has raised more than $350,000 in
donations and provided financial awards to more than 135 students.
Robert Sitek is the new leader for the environmental and graphic design team at Hollis + Miller Architects. He will work from the Kansas
office to develop the team, building the business and client-focused strategy for each of the firm's markets. Sitek previously was a senior
designer with Manhattan KS-based CivicPlus, a government website design firm. Among other jobs, he also had his own business Sitek
Design from 2001 to 2009, and worked for Hallmark Cards as the trade show and exhibits graphic designer, as well as retail product designer.
