What made you decide to go to design school?
I decided to go to art college during high school; my main interest was illustration and comic books. The books I read at a young age inspired me to draw. The first comic book I had was called “Big Baby” written and illustrated by Charles Burns, who is still an influence on me today.
Has it been a positive experience?
College has been the most influential experience of my life. Majoring in graphic design has enabled me to see the world in a completely different way. I’ve noticed there is design and creativity in everything.
Black, mainly because of its use in comic books.
