Where were you born or grew up, where do you live, does this effect your design style or sensibility?
I grew up in Yorktown Heights, NY, and now live
in Greenwich, CT, with my hubby and our dog.
My early design influencers were my parents who
taught me about the care and thought that goes
into the design of a home, plus they dabbled in
creative hobbies, which inspired me to play
around with photography, painting and jewelry
design. The process of making just about
anything look organized and appealing to the
eye has always been exciting and motivating for me.
If you were not a designer, what would you be doing for a living?
Interior Designer, Cheese Monger or Horticulturist
What is your greatest strength and weakness as a designer or design manager?
My weakness is falling into the never-ending cycle of multitasking. Someday my headstone should read: “I don’t have time for this!”
